Participant Feedback
“Thank you, it was good, just what I needed. I’m glad I bit the bullet and made the time. Thanks for organising ICPA NSW.”
Settle the Dust workshop, Broken Hill participant
“The drought is unrelenting and as women we are all trying to juggle many balls with varying degrees of success and sometimes feeling like we will drop the lot. By putting ourselves first, planning our goals, taking time to enjoy moments of joy, being grateful and learning to find contentment in situation, we can grow and support those around us regardless of the circumstances. Thank you Kalen.”
"Fantastic session! Practical tips, great conversations and a real boost of confidence. I left inspired, connected and ready to put new ideas into action. Thanks Kalen for making us laugh (that super woman pose) and creating a space where we were comfortable to join in and share."
Dubbo NSWFA Empowering Women Day participant
“A great educational event for our rural community. Lovely catering! Good to have on a Sunday to allow working women and young Mums to attend”
Dust it Off workshop, Wentworth participant
As a presenter, you (Kalen) were confident and encouraging. I found that you always gave us permission to participate or opt out with gentle encouragement to at least give it a try. Thank you Kalen for your caring and supportive nature and wiliness to listen to anyone who wanted to chat both in the group situation and one to one.
I enjoyed the togetherness, that we didn't get stuck on the lack of rain and that I learnt new tools
I really needed to remove myself from my family and business, the workshop was just what I needed. I enjoyed the new ideas and that everyone was included.
GATHER gave me the opportunity to consider things that we don't often give time to in everyday life.
I got to spend time with new people which was really valuable and I got to laugh, lots of laughs.
I got to meet like minded women in agriculture and enjoyed getting to know them.
I loved that it was a smallish group, it was easy to connect and relate. Amazing empathy, especially from Kalen. Awesome venue, catering, resource materials.
It was great to be with a group who could understand rural/farm life and the challenges of it along with being mothers too. Relaxed funny atmosphere.
Prior to today I felt very lost and had lost my spark, I loved the connections. My spark has been reignited.
Thank you for today, for ensuring the venue was fabulous, the delicious food and giving me time to build new friendships and grow.
The course has allowed me to look at my life with an open mind and has helped me to again become motivated to do things for me.
